Brackley Vision - Looking to the Future
Brackley is an historic market town with associations with important people and events such as the Magna Carta Barons, the Civil War and Magdalen College Oxford. The centre is situated around the old market place. For many years it was held wool fairs, being an important area for wool.
Several old and architecturally important buildings are interspersed amongst a number of local shops. The High Street is drawn out over approx. one mile and is divided by the schools of Magdalen College and Winchester House and the National Trust's Brackley Park.
The town is set in pleasant Cotswold type country, and is close to the famous Silverstone Motor racing circuit Within the town there are now many companies that have a close association with the motor racing world.
